外国名家英文诗：吟游诗人　　The minstrels played their Christmas tune
　　To-night beneath my cottage-eaves;

& a7 k+ g, G9 z$ `8 `　　The encircling laurels, thick with leaves,
( e# y3 n1 O4 s4 ^$ m　　Gave back a rich and dazzling sheen,
9 |* E6 v" T& _6 @9 g, s　　That overpowered their natural green.
" |( N5 v  h8 p/ q　　吟游诗人哼着他们的圣诞节曲调，
* ?6 I; \" \9 x3 N- K' [7 L4 e( u! w　　今夜，在我的田舍小屋下。
# A% Z' ^5 p/ Q  O# t. W. d0 @　　此时，高耸的月亮给予他们灵感。
( k) {+ X6 J% Y, x　　层层的月桂树，覆盖着叶子，
- p3 l- M* [2 S! q　　映射着饱满眩目的光泽，
& t/ I' O7 ~; g) l" s8 H: v6 i　　早已经超越了他们原有的颜色。

　　So stout and hardy were the band
　　That scraped the chords with strenuous hand.

　　风是那么锋利，但永不冷漠，
　　也不核对，弦音声声：

　　And who but listened?--till was paid

　　The greeting given, the music played
　　In honour of each household name,
