外国名家英文诗：吟游诗人　　The minstrels played their Christmas tune
　　To-night beneath my cottage-eaves;
/ ~* Y: R1 j! p+ N　　While, smitten by a lofty moon,
$ w5 {7 g' V$ q4 ^　　The encircling laurels, thick with leaves,
　　Gave back a rich and dazzling sheen,
　　That overpowered their natural green.
, C7 A' S* c- I" _! m0 p! N' Z　　吟游诗人哼着他们的圣诞节曲调，
　　今夜，在我的田舍小屋下。
1 a3 j* \7 M! b) Y　　此时，高耸的月亮给予他们灵感。
　　层层的月桂树，覆盖着叶子，
& @! {8 N9 R0 k6 }7 k' U　　映射着饱满眩目的光泽，
　　早已经超越了他们原有的颜色。
' E# x; ~$ g$ o* o: L" d　　Through hill and valley every breeze
1 N4 W: ]* b& D　　Had sunk to rest with folded wings:
　　Keen was the air, but could not freeze,
　　Nor check, the music of the strings;
　　So stout and hardy were the band

" v1 L5 ^6 B8 _0 v　　穿过山谷的每一阵微风下沉收起翅膀：
$ K1 ~+ I$ g0 a" u7 ?　　风是那么锋利，但永不冷漠，
; T6 K, K& I) X+ v6 ^1 i　　也不核对，弦音声声：
　　一层层又如此的强烈刚强，
" O5 r  T! i* V/ ^1 M& K: M3 t6 v　　用热烈的手摩擦着弦柱。

( l$ [$ K% o- l, L7 K　　Respect to every inmate's claim,
　　The greeting given, the music played
　　In honour of each household name,
　　Duly pronounced with lusty call,
